Actually, I was going to leave it there but maybe I have more on my mind to say. There's a lot of people that are willing to lay it all out there but then they get burned. Then there are the people that hold back because they're afraid of that exact thing. In the end it doesn't matter what you do, there are people that hurt us, people that make us smile but every person shapes us and makes us who we are now and part of who we become to the extent that we allow.

But while we can't control what people do or say, we can control our levels of expectations and we can choose not to accept anything less than what we deserve one human to another. Don't settle for anything less than mutual respect at the very least.
